GrateSafe® Metal Roof Walkway provides safe access to rooftop equipment while protecting roof panels against damage from foot traffic. The system features 18 GA galvanized steel planks, pierced and punched for a sturdy, anti-skid surface. Planks are 12″ wide x 10′ long and interlock so walkways can be installed in various widths. In addition, optional OSHA-compliant handrails and toe kicks integrate seamlessly. S-5! clamps are used to attach the walkway to standing seam roofs with no penetrations. R-Panel walkways use custom supports with Fab-Lok Fasteners or self-drilling fasteners for a complete weather-tight seal. The GrateSafe® roof access walkway system ships all together and is compatible with any metal roof panel.
